Christmas Pictures

Twas the Week Before Christmas and all through the store
not a picture was takin that wasn't a chore.
We did what we could to get him to smile
oh yes I mean him, it wasn't even our child.
That photographer was patient and even kind
however she still couldn't make my husband mind.
In all of her training she'd never seen such a sight
so she sent us out of there without so much as a Have a Nice Night!
So we walked out to the car with CD in hand
and said good night WalMart shoppers were going back to Grouchland.
Hope you all have a Wonderful Holiday Season! We wish you all a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
Our 2008 Family Picture...not as good as last years but, at the last minute, with a two year old, and an uncooperative husband it's the best we could do!

Almost Christmas....can you believe it!

Ok wasn't it just Janae's birthday like last weekend?? I cannot belive how fast this year has went. So much has been going on and we really don't see too many people so I thought I would just get on today and post an update for those of you that we don't see that check in on us anyway...
It's been just over a full year now that Aunt Marcia has had her complications but, she is finally home and doing well! After St. Mary's Hospital, Butterworth-Spectrum Hospital, Laurels of Carson, Butterworth again, Kent Community Hospital, and then on to Laurels of Fulton. I'm so excited for her and glad to have her back home!
Janae is potty trained and doing very well at it, it's been almost two months and just a few accidents in the first week and then she had a couple nights when the weather and time changed (when I also took the front off her crib and made it into a day bed) that she decided to pee the bed?? Oh well, it happened twice and I'm sure it will happen again in the future. She is growing so tall and talking so much, I just cannot believe how fast she is growing up. Over the last couple of weeks though she has had croupe, pink eye, and an ear infection. Now that we are getting over those she seems to be doing better but, has to go to a Pediatric Ophthatlmologist to have her eyes checked.
Today at my work we had our Christmas Dinner and I ate so much that I just feel miserable this afternoon and can't even think straight! Well, that's enough of an update for now can't wait to see everyone at all the Christmas Get togethers and if we don't see you then Merry Christmas to you and yours this wonderful Holiday Season!!!

Making chocolate chip cookies...and they were very tasty!!

Here are the girls wearing "caps" and all ready to go to the Dollar Store with their $2 to buy themselves some new treasures!!

We always have lots of fun when their are extra kids around to play with because Janae has someone to hang out with other than just Mommy and Daddy. We had a wonderful weekend and can't wait to have more "spend the nights" in the future.

Fun at Anderson's and a few other things!

Here are just some random pics from this last weekend. We had a great time playing out in the cold and then going inside to warm up and get donuts. Plus we went to the store and got new slippers and we had Happy Meals and played in the Play Place. (The kids think that Opening Day of Deer Season should come more often!)
Janae is doing very well with her potty training and hasn't had any accidents in a couple of weeks and on Friday we will have been at this for a full month! It's definitely an exciting road to travel that's for sure. She is getting so big so fast!! I mean I know it's bound to happen and people have always said she will grow up faster than you think and man they are sure right!

This is Janae modeling her new Dora hat that she got!
This is Janae and Aunt Marcia smooching Good bye...until next week Aunt Marcia. We Love You!
Here are the three hoodlums with their new slippers.
Hannah Montana, Dora, and Lightning McQueen!

And now she's a pro.

Janae's first time down the big slide by herself.

Here's Grandma driving the truck and Janae driving the tractor...tryin to race but, I don't think they are getting too far.

Here are the two buck a roos riding on their trusty steeds!

Crazy Cousin Weekend!

Here's another cleanup shot. They were so funny helping to clean up this huge mess. All in all we had a great time cleaning up the mess. No matter how many times the box got dumped back out!!
These are the packing peanuts that got spilled all over the kitchen as the kids were playing in the box that they were in (and that they were told to stay out of and away from!)

And here is Mr. Baxter raking the leaves (and burying his sister.)

This is Alexis in the leaves...she likes to be buried in them.

Here they are again...in the leaves.

Well we started out playing in the leaves!!

Trick or Treat!!!!

We had such a great time Trick or Treating this year. Michael took the day off so he was actually home to go with us and that was nice! It was the first of her three Halloweens that he has actually got to go but, this was the best because it was the first year we actually went door to door tick or treating. Before it was strictly to a few family members and that was it. This year was a blast. Janae did very well and wasn't shy and didn't get tired or whiny and want to be carried. She walked the whole time and she didn't even have an accident. As soon as we got to my mom's house she ran to the bathroom to go potty and I checked and she had on dry pants!! She's getting too big...too fast. Hope everyone had a Happy Halloween.
Here she is running up to get more candy. These guys had a great set up...a little cemetary in the front and a spooky woods walk through over to the neighbors house for more candy. It was great they also were giving away hot chocolate!! My favorite!!

Ended up sliding 3 times before we had to coax her off of it with the thought of people giving her candy. Gotta love bribery.

Here she is in Sheridan by the Fire Barn...had to slide down the slide!

There she goes...her wings are so cute!

Here she is trying to "fly away" from us...or run either way she is taking off!

Here she is standing and saying cheese for her pictures.

Here is Janae in her Abby Cadabby costume with her Elmo bucket for her candy. She is checking out her hair because I think those little pom poms are making her head itch.
