A Little bit of August

We have had a pretty busy month but, for whatever reason I don't have a lot of pictures!? We have went to Build a Bear and made a new bear for brother and she named it Bubbla Bear (perfect I thought.) We also had some pictures taken of all 3 of us and that was a blast! We have had a couple of family reunions this month, weddings, receptions, birthday parties...you name it but, for whatever reason I do not have pictures on the computer yet. I guess that is not high on my priority list right now.
We did have a good weekend though and we got a LOT done around our house...I'm getting the nest ready for the new baby bird to come home. Can't wait to meet him! It's definitely getting closer as I only have 8 more scheduled work days left and only 19 days until my due date!!
Janae tooling in her Barbie Jeep that she got from Grandma, Grandpa, Great Grandma, Aunt Marcia, Uncle Jim, Alexis and Xavier!

As a Family...we are growing!

We would like to share that we will be growing this year by two hands and two feet! We will (with all God's will) be adding a little baby boy to our family this year. We are so excited that I thought I would share with all of you. We have decided on a name finally and it is a wonderful one with lots of meaning and thought behind it!! Janae is super excited to bring her baby, "Bubbla" as she calls him into the world and she can't wait to meet him. She can however wait to share her toys and blankets!! She don't though want the cat sleeping in his bed because she got in yesterday and threw her out...then she was stuck in the crib and couldn't get out :) it was rather comical!!
For now that is all and we cannot wait to welcome our little bundle in the next few weeks to come!! (Due date: 9/19/2009)

June and July 2009

Our summer has been pretty busy yet we've tried to stay a little closer to home this year since I'm pregnant and not always feeling up for things once we get where we are going. So we've had fun just a different kind of fun than last year. More mini staycations not so much on the vacations away from it all...so to speak. It's been nice though we've had a great time enjoying our growing together as a family.

Happy 4th of July

We had a wonderful 4th of July. We spent part of the day at home hanging out together and we spent the rest of the day with my mom and dad fishing, working around the yard, and just hangin' out! It was nice we had a great time! Janae fell asleep before any of the fireworks started so Michael and I just went over to Dickerson Lake to watch them before going home to bed. They were nice but, after you hear them for three days you get a little tired of them and don't care to even sit for very long to watch them!!
~*~Hope everyone had a Wonderfu 4th of July~*~

Welcome Spring 2009 - randoms from April and May

Here are just some updated pictures so you can see how much Janae has grown! She is getting so big and well has SO much personality sometimes that I just don't know what to do with her! WOW...her dad says she acts like me but, I think she acts like him so I guess you have to be your own judge on that!! (when in all reality she has such a good mix of both of us that we are really going to be in for it as she grows up!)

Playing with her Easter basket and easter eggs.
Playing at the Laurels while visiting with Aunt Marcia.
Hiding in the closet in Aunt Marcia's room.
Playing in the mud hole at Easter with Alexis and Xavier.
Sliding at the park in Carson City.

Wearing Daddy's big yellow Harley shirt!

One of Janae's FAVORITE past times...stomping in the mud holes!

I tell you I have never seen a kid to wish for it to rain just so that she has holes to stomp around in! What a little turkey.

Memorial Day Parade...Sheridan Springfest

Janae and I made our walk through Sheridan again this year in the Annual Memorial Day Parade. She kept referring to it as HER Parade. She was ready to march in her parade and she was even planning on catching a deer and riding that to the parade. (we did not however remind her on our way there about the deer so that she didn't get upset that she couldn't really catch one and ride it!) After the parade was over she even got to ride a pony and she was VERY happy about that and VERY sad when she had to get off and go back home!

Here is Janae and daddy with the pony!
Janae and daddy with the pony again. Daddy got lots of exercise walking with this pony!

Janae and I in the parade...after she saw her Grandma, Grandpa, Daddy, Natasha, and Doug she was not so thrilled to finish the parade. Thank goodness they are always close to the end.
Here's Miss Janae in her super cool wagon!

Grand Rapids Public Museum...DiNoSaUrS!

We decided to go to the Grand Rapids Public Museum because they had DINOSAURS there and Janae LOVES dinosaurs. She has gotten really big into watching ALL of the Land Before Time movies and anything dinosaurs. I actually thought that she would want to have that for her birthday party this year but, she still wanted to stick with Dora for that (and have a few dinosaurs too!) We spent a few hours at the museum looking at all the different exhibits but, we ended up back at the dinosaurs 3 different times before we left for the evening. Then we went and ate and did some final shopping for the birthday party and then she wanted to go back and see them again but, they were sleeping so we couldn't!
This is the little dinosaur displayed in front of the gift shop...where Janae got her a new dinosaur puzzle and a couple of little dinosaurs to play with at home.
This is Janae and Daddy riding on the "Music Go Round" at the GRPM.

Here's Janae playing with another table full of dinosaur toys...the SHARP TEETH!
