We went to the fair up in Mount Pleasant and the kids absolutely loved it. They got to ride on the ponies and ride the big slide! They even shared an elephant ear (or donut as Janae likes to call them.) Either way they had a great time. After the fair we went to McDonalds and played in the playland while we ate supper. It was a good time.

After the reunion we all went back to Grandpa and Grandma's house and played in the tent and the sprinkler. It was Janae's first time playing in the sprinkler (because of her tubes we've never tried them out) but, we figured it was about time since she got a couple for her birthday.

My Grandma (on my mom's side) had a family reunion on Sunday and so we all went to that and had a great time seeing family and playing some games! The kids got lots of candy and got to throw water balloons at people so all in all it made for a fun day!

On Saturday evening we had Janae's birthday party. She had a great time...lots of kids to play with, plenty of cake and ice cream to eat, and lots and lots of fun presents!

Well on Friday...August 1st Janae turned 2 years old so me and my sister in-law Jennifer decided to take Janae, Alexis, and Xavier to Build a Bear and Chuck E Cheese (then to Krispy Kreme for a free doughnut!) We had a great time and the kids had FUN too! Janae made a dog named Rascal and Alexis and Xavier each made a bear and named them Beary (from Sponge Bob) Janae was a little scared of Chuck E when he came out to stroll around and shake hands but, other than that it was a GREAT day!

3 years and going strong!

Well, yesterday Michael and I celebrated our 3 yr. Anniversary and had a great time. (Been together 4 1/2 years) We went to Grand Rapids and spent the whole day together. We went to the Gerald Ford Museum (Michael's idea) and then we went to the mall, to visit my Aunt in the hospital, and then out to dinner at Bennigan's. We had a great day! Can't wait to do something just as exciting next year! It was definitely just nice to spend some time with him since he's gone a lot for work during the weekends when I am home and when he's home during the week I'm at work.

Happy Independence Day!

Well, I haven't posted in a while because I haven't had a computer. So I decided to take 5 minutes today and post anyway. Things have been pretty busy for us as normal but, we are all doing pretty good. Janae is getting bigger and bigger everyday and Michael is working a lot and is gone a lot. Me I am working my 40 hours and then chasing Janae the rest of the time after that! We have been enjoying summer though...we've been to the zoo, the Orchard to pick strawberries and pet the animals, the library numerous times, and plenty of parks to play and play and play at!!
Aunt Marcia has been sick on and off but, other than that is doing well and hopefully will be home before the end of summer. Grandma is doing pretty good too. She has been fighting her cellulitis on and off but, nothing we can't seem to fight back and win over (still so far anyway.)
So I think that's enough from us for now. As soon as I can I will post some new pictures of the fun things we've been doing. TTFN! Happy 4th of July!
