3 years and going strong!

Well, yesterday Michael and I celebrated our 3 yr. Anniversary and had a great time. (Been together 4 1/2 years) We went to Grand Rapids and spent the whole day together. We went to the Gerald Ford Museum (Michael's idea) and then we went to the mall, to visit my Aunt in the hospital, and then out to dinner at Bennigan's. We had a great day! Can't wait to do something just as exciting next year! It was definitely just nice to spend some time with him since he's gone a lot for work during the weekends when I am home and when he's home during the week I'm at work.

Happy Independence Day!

Well, I haven't posted in a while because I haven't had a computer. So I decided to take 5 minutes today and post anyway. Things have been pretty busy for us as normal but, we are all doing pretty good. Janae is getting bigger and bigger everyday and Michael is working a lot and is gone a lot. Me I am working my 40 hours and then chasing Janae the rest of the time after that! We have been enjoying summer though...we've been to the zoo, the Orchard to pick strawberries and pet the animals, the library numerous times, and plenty of parks to play and play and play at!!
Aunt Marcia has been sick on and off but, other than that is doing well and hopefully will be home before the end of summer. Grandma is doing pretty good too. She has been fighting her cellulitis on and off but, nothing we can't seem to fight back and win over (still so far anyway.)
So I think that's enough from us for now. As soon as I can I will post some new pictures of the fun things we've been doing. TTFN! Happy 4th of July!

Health updates

Well Aunt Marcia had a foot appointment yesterday and he took the rest of her sutures out and all of her staples. He said that it looked like it was healing well and that if she continued to stay in good spirits and eat well to keep her over all health up that her foot should heal just fine! YAY! What a relief to finally hear. He did tell her that she could put some weight on it now but, only to do transfers to and from her chair. She has her next appointment with him in one month so hopefully by then she will be able to put full weight on it!? She also has been fitted for her prosthesis and will get to learn how to use that pretty soon too.
As for my Grandma she will be spending the weekend in the hospital. We are trying to fight off the cellulitis that she seems to get every couple of months.
Janae well she fell last night down about the last 4 stairs at our house and she smashed her chin and bit her tongue on both sides so we had a pretty rough night trying to sleep!! She seems to be doing a bit better today. Let's hope it don't happen again anytime soon!

Fredrick Meijer Gardens

We had so much fun taking Janae to Fred Meijer Gardens!! She really liked the water but, the butterflies were cool too. :) She loved playing outside in the Childrens Garden and checking out all the cool stuff that is there. It was kind of cold that day so we will have to go back in the summer when it's warmer out and she can play at the water part that was still closed up!

At the Park!

This is me on the merry go round! It was lots of fun. I was thinking that I was pretty big stuff standing up on it while it was spinning around.

Hope everyone is enjoying these wonderful spring days we are having...we sure are! Janae and I (and daddy when he's home) have been loving that we can get outside and play (and work.) It's just so much better than being cooped up inside.
As for Aunt Marcia she is now in the Laurels of Carson City. It's a nice place but, I will say it's not perfect. It's nice (definitely not as terrible as Ionia dont think that's really possible.) We haven't had too many problems but, I do have a couple of issues that are annoying me. She is healing "ok" she needs to see a wound specialist once a week in order to heal properly and well she didn't get to see one last week so I'm calling her podiatrist next week to have him set her up an appointment. There is only one spot that isn't healing and now they are thinking that looks infected! So we will soon see. She has a doctor's appointment with Dr. Harris on May 15.
I suppose I have to stop typing now and take Janae outside because she is over banging on the window! We haven't had our outside play time yet today and she's not taking a day off! Hope this finds everyone well.
