Our trip to the Fish Hatchery, Paris MI

...and a few from home (July) we decided to take a day trip to Paris so I could show everyone in my family the Fish Hatchery...we had went there a couple times when I was a kid and I remember having such a good time as a kid with my brother and my cousins. Well, Janae, Evan, Michael and I had a great time too. We had a picnic and Janae even got to make her own peanut butter sandwich (ahh the little things) We played in the park and then met Grandpa, Grandma, and Lexie Paige at the Mecosta County Fair!

June and a little bit of July

We didn't go too far this summer but, we did have a lot of fun just the same. We went to Carson City's Frontier Days to the big inflatables and the kids enjoyed them and watching the parade. We also went to Anderson's a few times and Janae got her first chance at riding the lawn mower with her daddy! Plus we went and watched some fireworks and took a trip to the beach over the 4th of July weekend!!

Behrend Family Vacation

Here are some pictures from our vacation that we took for a few days up north, Grayling, Newberry, and Traverse City, MI. We all had a very good time!! It was Janae's second time though she don't remember any of it because she was only 6 weeks old the first time we took her :) so for both kids it was really a first for them together. They LOVED the Garlyn Zoo and Oswald's Bear Ranch!! Those were the favorites I think but, Janae did like the falls too she said those looked like root beer because they are so brown :) Too funny the way a childs mind works. They also loved spending lots of time in the hotel pools...which was nice because we didn't have to have lots planned and they were ok with that. (which is also good because up there without a lot of driving you can't plan much!) So thankful to have gotten a little time away with my favorite people! God is Good...Everyday!

Janae goes to pre-school

OMG! My baby is in school...that is so not possible! She went and she was just great...she was a pro, like she had done it a million times. She is so ready for something new. I'm so excited for her to be growing up and learning new things!! Such a proud momma!
