June and a little bit of July

We didn't go too far this summer but, we did have a lot of fun just the same. We went to Carson City's Frontier Days to the big inflatables and the kids enjoyed them and watching the parade. We also went to Anderson's a few times and Janae got her first chance at riding the lawn mower with her daddy! Plus we went and watched some fireworks and took a trip to the beach over the 4th of July weekend!!

Behrend Family Vacation

Here are some pictures from our vacation that we took for a few days up north, Grayling, Newberry, and Traverse City, MI. We all had a very good time!! It was Janae's second time though she don't remember any of it because she was only 6 weeks old the first time we took her :) so for both kids it was really a first for them together. They LOVED the Garlyn Zoo and Oswald's Bear Ranch!! Those were the favorites I think but, Janae did like the falls too she said those looked like root beer because they are so brown :) Too funny the way a childs mind works. They also loved spending lots of time in the hotel pools...which was nice because we didn't have to have lots planned and they were ok with that. (which is also good because up there without a lot of driving you can't plan much!) So thankful to have gotten a little time away with my favorite people! God is Good...Everyday!

Janae goes to pre-school

OMG! My baby is in school...that is so not possible! She went and she was just great...she was a pro, like she had done it a million times. She is so ready for something new. I'm so excited for her to be growing up and learning new things!! Such a proud momma!

I cannot believe how big my little man is already....1 really this has to be a joke. He is so not old enough to be a toddler!! What a year it has been that is for sure!!

March, April, and Easter

Well, we've been pretty busy for the most part at our house. Not to mention with the weather changing back and forth all the time from cold to warm it's continuing to keep Mr. Evan sick most of the time. I cannot wait for consistently warmer weather!!! I just want him to be healthy! Other than that we have been pretty good. We went to Anderson's Orchard the day they opened and met up with Aunt Jen and Austin and Walker there and had a great time. Then we went back that following Saturday for the Easter Egg Hunt and met up with Uncle Jim, Aunt Jen, Alexis, and Xavier and had more fun!!

We have started looking for houses getting ready to move on to the next chapter of our lives. It's exciting but, at the same time a lot of work too because we want to do so much where we are so the house will sell faster. Right now our current project is our bathroom and laundry room we are putting in a new bathtub, sink, vanity, mirror, and flooring through the bathroom and laundry room. It should be very interesting!!
